...and the knee felt pretty good! A bit throbby (made up word of the day) this morning, but it's a rest day, so I think I'll be fine. Another 5 miler planned for Saturday. It's possible I may be over the worst of this [fingers crossed].

Five Miles Last Night...
Andy. We have these weekly pinned chat posts that are popular for posting short updates on run specific info, injury updates and asking for advice on niggles etc. Saves people having to start a whole new post for 20-30 random items/thoughts/reports/mini questions etc. Not trying to be funny but I get all excited when a new main post pops up! (how sad am I?)
This weeks one is here-
Oi Lordi Andy can post wherever he likes ππ€£ Especially when it's good news!
I guess a throbby feeling is understandable if it's been troublesome lately, but be sure to make the most of your rest day to keep it happy! π€
Hi andystev, I have just been reading your 'knee history' and I, like I suppose many forum members, can relate to the will I/won't I be pain free and able to run just how I'd like to scenario. I think that you have had to miss one or more races π
I had made up all sorts of plans for how I was going to prepare and then have, for me, a great PB for my one year anniversary run, but probably, my hamstring troubles will stop me. π’Boo! Patience needed for me. The runs will have to wait.
All the very best for your onward running journey, I see you have been running for a good long while a great example to us who are much newer at it. ππ½π
