[Lordi Marathon]

Espoo Omatoimimaraton - Roughly translated from Finnish means "City of Espoo DIY Marathon". There is a Finnish branch of the worldwide network of people who have run over 100 marathons (loonies, nutters etc) and so they lay on regular indoor marathons (3 times per week over winter) where you can rock-up and run a marathon to contribute towards your 100 marathon runs, or just do a HM or 1/4 HM all for the entry price to the indoor arena! I'm signed up but not going to do a marathon just yet, just a HM to test out the indoor track they have there. This is the indoor arena with 400m or 800m loops/circuit options.

Thanks all for your kind words of encouragement! I hope everyone running today and Lordi on Tuesday have good races. My HM was great thanks Roseabi! 😊. We were very lucky with the weather - even though it was around 0C at the start it was sunny all the way. I managed a pb (albeit only my 2nd HM and this time on an almost flat course) and came in at around 1h43 😁
