Good luck to all my fellow runners! We had crazy 80 kph winds last night! Let's hope she gets it out of her system in the next 24 hours. The wind coming off the lake and at the top of the hills will be nasty, giving they're calling for a high of 1C. Fingers crossed for better weather for everyone!

I did it! Absolutely soaked, muddy & cold. Time of 1:09:15, very pleased with that as I estimated 75mins. Not a good introduction into the world of 10K’s, would I do it again - YES!!!

Thanks to all of you............. well....it was a wet Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday... but managed to get round in 2h 20mins (so only around 3 minutes off my target).. very friendly and organized race with loads of support in many places (given the weather) - it was tough running by Costa and McDonalds at one point ha ha... lovely to run around some of the sights of London but the never ending finish line in sight on a gradual uphill for over 1.5k was tough going (didn't know 800 meters could feel so long after that bit). A race I would recommend to anyone...
