Thank you for the mention roseabi Sadly I may not be running on Sunday - I managed to knock a full bottle of soy sauce onto my toe yesterday afternoon and now it's mega sore and very bruised. I'm so cross I could stamp my feet (except it would be way too painful) Keep your fingers crossed for a miracle as I'm desperate to do this one and, for a change, the training has gone quite well. Sod's Law eh? 😢

You’ll have to see how it feels in the morning Hopefully it will be ok. Couple of ibufren etc tonight You could sleep with it elevated on a pillow perhaps

Yay! Great stuff. It will be good to see a friendly face 😃👍. You could get cold petal,so wrap up right well 😬 10 degrees but windy and wet (ish) apparently Hope it blows to our advantage 🤞😃🌊

Oh I didn't get to the thread in time to say good luck to paulanoo, hope it went well!, and good luck everyone else tomorrow! 🤞 🏃 I'm having a nice relaxing bath and will then get stuck into the trusty mackerel and brown pasta dish I like to have pre-race... Even though I keep telling myself it's just a training run. Who am I kidding... I'm not going to do it at training pace. Well, not intentionally anyway, it might be all I can muster after all my lack of prep 😂
