Every few weeks our run group awards this massive “genuine” championship belt to a runner that is showing improvement or extra work. It is awesome! I’ve no idea how, but it was my turn this week. My kids were somehow not impressed with the new look. 😊 It was also our run leader’s birthday and despite his best efforts at disguising it, the group still found out and managed to throw him a small surprise party after the time trials yesterday. They broke out a full table and spread in seconds. They don’t call ‘em Ninjas for nothing.

That's well deserved, don't be so modest "I've no idea how".... I've watched you go from strength to strength over the last year, you're doing really fantastically well. If your kids are not impressed, all the more reason to wear it more often! Massive congratulations xx

Thanks Curly, I am really happy with the progress I’ve made especially in the last few months, though I don’t count myself anywhere near the top of this group. They are super fast which is very motivating as they are so decent about it. I will get my kids out on a run before I am done!

My off rd group awards the "Glory Pants" on occasion!they are mega oversized crocheted pants with glory appliqued on and you have to pose for a photo! Ive not won them yet but one day maybe...... 😆😂

Thanks Ali! Oh I can just picture those giant crocheted pants! 🤣 Someone sunk some time into those. By comparison, our wrestling belt feels tame!
