Thanks everyone. Just got an email last night. There is a slight change of route for the 10k, not making it any easier, but now not a straight out and back. Let's throw another hill in there for $h!ts and giggles 😆, will be an out and back with a little loop at the top extending further onto the 50k course. Yeehaw! Should be fun in the rain, slipping and sliding up and down some serious hills.

I have been feeling a cold coming on for the last 2 days and accidentally doubled up on my cold medicine this morning. Good lesson learned - will avoid taking it tomorrow (or atleast will remember it is the extra strength form). Resting up today, letting the side effects of the overdose wear off (just feeling a little wonky like I drank waaay too much coffee but haven't slept in days so am weirdly tired in addition to buzzed), but have really clear sinuses....at least for now 😂
