Has it been a year?

Facebook just reminded me that it’s been a year since my first 5k race. I remember what a slog it was at the time (the pic is the ‘before’ shot 🙂) I never would have dreamed that there would be a 10k and a Half Marathon race to follow. Now I’m booked for a second HM in Oct. This running gets a bit addictive eh? Progress is hard to see when you are in it, but I guess it happens while we are busy wheezing and sweating 😅

Well done.☺ Yep...as you say it's pretty addictive and there is always a new goal to work towards! I ran my first HM last year but an injury set me back later on so have not run beyond 8 miles since. Hope to do a 10 miler later this year and then a second HM in the spring. Good luck for October!😊

Thanks Decker, am well over the injury although it left me with a

slight weakness in my left leg which I have been steadily strengthening! My runs have been shorter in the hot weather (I am definately a cold weather runner!) so I am now gradually building them up again!🙂

Well my Garmin is saying 1143km were run in the last year. It’s crazy. I only go out a few times a week, mostly for short runs
