I was complaining on Strava about getting my AB grades flute music stuck in my head on runs. I actually had the same Gilbert & Sullivan tune with me all the way through the Beachy Head Marathon ๐ญ
I'm not going to press play because I'm at work with my suite door open and would get a raised eyebrowโbut I'm already mind-humming it from the title alone ๐
M. I. A's Bad Girls. Don't know why, it's a cracking sunny day running song but hardly one of my all time favouritesโyet it gets stuck there in my head for WEEKS. I wake up humming it. In the interests of sharing the pain:
Just heading out on my long run and I wish I hadn't posted that Boney M link...It's playing already in my head! Damn it! Need to try to switch it for something I actually like!
I like em! What style ๐๐. Can you remember the one they did in the snow, with snow falling in those great long false eyelashes I wanted that look ๐๐๐
I invested heavily into semi-permanent eyelashes for my wedding day. A few days afterwards I was AGAIN cooking a hot dinner for my new husband , when I opened the oven door and the hot blast melted my swanky fab lashes. They looked like mangled spiders ๐ฉ. The very next day I cancelled my โhoneymoonโ and went back to work ๐ค
Early on in my run yesterday morning a very drunk man emerged from a house, clocked me and my running backpack, and started singing 'Pack Up Your Troubles in Your Old Kit Bag' ๐
They are usually my favourites which is a pain as I then go off them for a while. Once I get one it stays with me for days/weeks and wakes me up in the night. Donโt know but maybe thatโs why I generally listen to podcasts these days
