The Summer Speed Challenge is now officially over π. But don't be sad, there will be another one in the Autumn π€ Also, if you are running behind schedule and would still like to enter a cheeky final result - get out and run!!
Please can anyone who hasn't already given me their Week 4 result pop it in the comments below - or let me know if you won't be posting a Week 4 result, thanks much.
I'll post about the results asap, but they can be viewed here in the meantime...
no news from my side. this morning I managed a 44' on a 6 miles (not as fast as the 8 miles promised, but good news for my future 12 weeks HM training plan!
I hope to try a 5 K park run this or next Saturday. I will let you know... And then I look forward to this fall
This is the result of my morning run.5k, 7:54, 39:32mins.πFunny the PR only shows 39:57.? I will take the best result if that is acceptable.π€ππboomπ₯
Thank youπ for this great challenge which has got me into the 35- 40 band and running at 8km/ hr and 8 mins / km.
I am going to do an evening 5k consolidation run. Are you finally closed for business and a well deserved rest.π€ or is another post acceptable if a PB.π€
Strava uses elapsed time (instead of moving time) to calculate the best effort. This is to help you estimate your best racing time, because in races the time does not autopause as it does in your app
That is why your best estimated 5k effort (and PR in this case) was slower than the time recorded for the run.
