This was yesterday afternoon at Brixam. But now it's Parkrun morning. I just got it wrong and took Rita's coffee to her at 05.55 apparently she wanted it at 06.55. But I digress it's a couple of days holiday away from Donny and I am here mainly to try out my gearing on my race bike for my next duathlon at Darley moor on 27 th . May it's a flat airfield track. And here at Brixam the P run is located on the Torbay Leisure Park . ( now a velodrome). So it should have worked out well run 5km ride 20 ?km / run another 2.5 but the local bike club are hogging the track from 9.45 so it's just the run this morning.. but it's a nice view from the son in laws house on the hill. Now that I have got the marathon behind me I must boost my 5km times for the duathlon season is here and now. Have a nice weekend everyone. Mike. PS Ran the break water it's not 1 mile it's only .97. 7.93 mins not bad for an old fella

Morning Mike and Rita ! Coffee in bed! What a gent 😃

Brixham is very hilly so I don’t envy you 😃. Lovely though. Is that where they have the seafront swimming pool?

Torquay must be the hilliest place in England You sure know how to pick em 😁. You need a winch to get back up having climbed down to the beach 🏖

Have fun you two and good luck with your running and biking 💪😃

It looked really good 😃

Apparently there is a good one on Jersey which I hope to partake of. Run to the pool and then in for a swim to cool off Hoping that it’s not freezing by the time I visit 😃

Brixham is lovely One of our favorites, we are there again in September.

There is a lovely xc route along the coast from the harbour up to Berry Head National Nature Park, Quite hilly though. Or drive there and lots of fairly flat ground/ paths at Berry Head itself. Enjoy!

Will give that a try. Weather is good here, but changing a bit each day as the tides affect weather at the seaside. Says Mike from Hayling Island.

I walked up there from Meadsfoot (I think) we did a long trek. I schlepped with crossedlegs to some loos and when I got there they were “closed for the summer” 😁 😖

We went via Brixham It all seemed to be uphill 🙂 No time to visit Greenways but will do so next time 🙂

Millsie-j. I know I owed from last year ( when I outed your I D) but you certainly got your own back this morning. According to my T T it took me 32 + mins to cover the first 2km. up from the harbour onto th top of the hill onto the road to Berry head but the view was fantastic .and the sun's been shining every day. Many thanks. Mike
