This is a quick one, although I will pin it for a bit, so maybe more of you will see it.
Would you like to have your upcoming race published on this page so that we can all cheer you along on the day?
I know several are training for races at the moment, and I will ask all of you separately too when I get the chance. But please do comment on this post or PM me about it, and I will add your event to our Events calendar in the Marathon Running and Race Support sidebar.
Just tell me the name of your event (or events), and its website if there is one, and I will list it up!
Cheers,
Abix

I did the 10k there on that same day, conditions were not good.....but it was fun! misswobble did you get the email saying they are monitoring weather for the coming week before releasing final details?
The same route as last week (muddy!) Around 5.5 miles and the slowest ones start first and try and keep their lead! A local race hosted by Ryde harriers club.... πππππ
Yes please! Iβm doing Harewood House Half tomorrow and Taunton Half on April 8th. From never having run a half to 3 in 11 weeks - guess who has an addictive personality? ππΌββοΈ
Yes you could say that......but itβs going to be freeezing! And thatβs without any added snow, sleet or wind.......Iβm trying really hard not to obsess about the weather.........bbbbrrrrrrrrrr! βοΈ The only element I havenβt run in so far is laying snow, but that doesnβt mean I want to! π
Wish Iβd known, weβve registered for Perkins eastern HM at Peterborough, October 14th......not sure I want to do another one! The way this training has gone with the weather etc., not sure Iβm really feeling the love right now!.....
Great idea! The Big Half is rolling up for me on 4th March with Realfoodieclub , then the Molsheim vineyard HM (France) on 17th June, and the Great Eastern Run on 16th September with fellow nutter AncientMum , and other too from what I can see!
It's awesome. There's a marathon, too. And a 10k, and a walk, and children's races. There are food stands all along the route that serve up wine, local specialities and fuel for runners. There's music, lots of people in fancy dress and spectacular views. This will be my second time.
It's a newer event and has been really well organized and attended. The guys do a great job. I'm hoping to feel prepared enough to try the 20k next year which really gets into the back country. The 10k with its 2 steep hills will be tough enough for this year. I'll be focussing on hill repeats in training this summer, in hopes of running a good portion of the hills - well maybe not the first one. It is crazy steep and it's hard enough hiking up it, lay alone running up it π .
Hi roseabi. Saturday 17th March is the start of my Duathlon season. Clumber park duathlon is an age related qualification for being chosen to represent my country in 2019.. as usual I am the oldest (and possibly the madest) competitor. It consists of s 5km run on tarmac followed by 20km bike ride on tarmac and finishes off with a further 2.5km run. I take part in the " sprint " event the " standard "event is double the distance.Top British athletes competing for a limited number of places .......and meπΌπΌ
The best bling in medals and T shirts.. also ,( in many opinions,); the most beautiful surroundings in the running calendar.chose your distance from 5 k 10,k half marathon full to ultra marathon it's all here. And of course there is cake afterwards. And the sun shone last year
