My first 22½km run today. It was hard mentally. I was 5 minutes slower than my Norwich ½ marathon time. It started out warm when I started at 1 o’clock, but as it got later in the afternoon, it became very cold. I only had thin running gloves on, my hands were freezing. I must get a better pair of gloves. There was a beautiful view of the Yarmouth road on the opposite side of the river illuminated by the setting sun at Whitlingham broard. A very good end to a run.

Sounds like a really good run! You must have run 21.1 km at least as fast as you did the Norwich half (?) - that's a great achievement for a training run, well done!!
