*New* Race and Training Quest Week 3 ✔️

Hi all,

How is it going?

As some of you are aware, we have a rolling 6 week quest over on C25k and I want to 'test the water' here.

What the quest is:-

The quest takes six weeks.

You can join any time within that six weeks.

The main aim of the quest is to help you find a focus or goal that you would like to achieve by the end of the Quest period.

Some goal suggestions:

To run X times a week✔️

To slowly increase distance✔️

To train for a specific race✔️

To add In Stretch and strength exercises✔️

Aim for a new 5, 10, HM or marathon PB ✔️

Every week I will pin a new post where all the members of the quest can talk about how things are going.

So if you wanted to join all you have to do is put

I would like to join the quest, or count me in and then I would like to. ..............

Your name will be added for the duration of the Quest.

  • Hi all, not too bad a week, a 9k and parkrun, then a 9k trek round an NT property in the lovely sun yesterday - walking that was enough... but found a fantastic woodland trail that would be usable all year round........(she says in awe of Ju-Ju's epic marathon on Saturday)

    Not sure how this week is going to go, work and other things have meant I've got to change my planned run day.....and time.....still hopeful I'll get my distance up....

    Hope everyone else is doing ok.....and you're resting those legs panther woman!

  • I missed both running club sessions last week due to general bad life organisation, and reached the weekend with no run under my belt. But then I remembered my other quest to do parkrun in 30 something again, and incredibly did 29:58, felt amazing. So I'm hoping to consolidate that over the rest of the quest. Will update on running club progress too. And will aim to definitely get my 3 runs in this week :)

  • Just in after a surprisingly nice 7k build-up. 3 runs last week on the Plan: 5k, 5k, and 7k. Three this week too, 7k, 7k and 10k -sounds very tame compared with what you've just done JJ lol xx
