Always! Has to be something special on to make me missit these days We were lucky to have a truly beautiful autumn morning which made the lake and the colours of the leaves on the trees positively shine. Had to dash off straight after though as I was off to the rugby (great game England very Fiji) so misses my tea and bacon sandwich. I run at Tilgate - highly recommended.
I was marshalling this week as did gosport HM yesterday! Mine is at Newport ,isle of Wight and we had 266 this week! The winner was 14 yrs old, in 18.01 ,but apparently hes top 25 in england for his age!! We were in a great spot to see them all flying across the fields and looping round😆
Always do maidstone parkrun great time and always with my 10 year old and sometimes pushing my other child in his pushchair but that's hardwork. love the coffee and biscuits after and the lovely run the along the river. we also have a fantastic photographer who turns up every week to try and capture all the 300 odd people.
I noticed that someone on the C25K forum has set up a virtual Christmas Eve parkrun, which sounds like fun:

For my part I haven't parkrunned for a while due to various stuff. I'm rather spoilt for choice with two in Hove - on the Promenade, which is super-flat and fast, and up at Hove Park, which is undulating and lovely. Then there's another two in Brighton that I haven't ventured to yet - gorgeous and mostly flat Preston Park, and hilly off-road Bevendean. I'd like to try and go to one of them on Christmas Eve at least
Bevendean is where we plan to do our tourist run - they have much lower numbers than Tilgate, so I see it as my only chance of getting a top 100 place!
We don't have park runs - I wish we did!
It's a 45 minute car journey to my nearest parkrun and the same to come back. So I do my own thing. But I shall be running on Saturday morning.
