What do you guys do with your t-shirts from races?
Does anyone actually wear them again? do you just use them as a spare running top, or maybe go shopping in them or use them to do your DIY and gardening in.
Or as i suspect they get put in a drawer never to be seen again.

I have one that I use, a long-sleeved one. I have a pea green one which is vile and I never want to look at again so it hangs in the wardrobe as does a hideous blood red one with an awful black image seemingly photocopied on to it. I have a beautiful technical one for the half marathon I did which has bats on it (old bats in my case) but I've never worn it. I keep saying I will hang it in my office but of course have never got round to it. Even the vile ones I couldn't bring myself to use as dish cloths or to garden in. Maybe one day when I've hung up my daps
I was wondering the same thing the other day. I have half a drawer full of race T-shirts - a few of which get used for running but most of which never see light of day again. Nice to have a memento, but on balance I think I'd rather organisers knocked a fiver or tenner off the entry fee and saved on the T-shirts!
Most of mine get put in a drawer but I will be wearer my Brighton Marathon finisher t-shirt with pride to my running club later this evening, We are having a marathon relay around the track this evening and I am sure that I will only manage 400 meters!
How are you feeling today - I am feeling so much worse then yesterday, it really hurts to walk!
A swim sounds like a really good idea! Thankfully my legs feel so much better today. I am going to allow myself a few days off and my next run will be parkrun on Saturday morning. I am really looking forward to it as Ben Smith 401 Marathon man will be running with us. What that man is doing is absolutely incredible, I can't believe he has not smashed his fundraising target yet!
I have two technical ones - one from my half marathon which is a nice pale yellow saying Never give Up and a purple one from a trail event in the Lake District last saturday. I think I will wear both of these when running or cycling. I also have four cotton T-shirts from events last year - one I will give away as I don't like it, the others will be used around the house, under a sweatshirt when it's cold or if I need to change into a comfy and dry t-shirt after coming in from a run if I don't have a shower straight away (I often run late afternoon and then cook when I get in and shower later).
I like the tech ones, but I agree that I'd rather have a smaller fee or a medal than another cotton t-shirt!
I don't wear the cotton ones, but for this morning's run I did wear a very nice technical tee from the Royal Parks Half last year. It's a nice colour and actually fits really well!
My favourite is my one from Paris and I wear that to the gym. If they are white ( like this one) , my husband wears them under his shirt for work ( like a white t shirt), but hes an architect so he is a bit wierd!!
I use them all the time if they are technical tops - proper t shirts less so. Always good to do training in them! My Berlin one has a massive great big luminous pink bear all over the front!
I love my Richmond HM one from last year 'all the gear, no eye deer'. I wear the trailblazers ones too. I wore Brighton finishers shirt to uni on Monday, as I thought it would look too braggy to wear the medal, LOL
