I am having to use antibiotic eye drops and they have to be stored in the fridge. The plastic bottle is so hard to squeeze that I am really struggling to use them. I was hoping someone may ha ve a tip or. Two. Thanks

Hi Koalajane. I had to use the ab drops after my retinal detachment op and had to store them in the fridge also. The only thing I can suggest, if you don't have anyone to squeeze the bottle for you, is use both hands and hope it drops in the right place. Sorry I can't be more help. I've actually just read (and I don't know how true it is), if you tilt the bottle and give it a single very gentle shake, after that you'll be able to get the drops out - I suppose anything's worth a try. Solved; I saw the nurse rolling the bottle between the palms of her hands for a couple of minutes; it warms up the plastic a little to make it easier to squeeze.
Last time I had these idiotic droppers and got really cross. I was going to ask for the older ones next time but it looks as if they are the new fashion. Probably invented by a fit man in their twenties with a harem.
