Not a very good field test in one eye

I have macular degeneration, dry in one eye and wet in the other for which I have regular injections. I had an eye test at opticians today having moved from London to Somerset, and as usual the field test in the eye with dry amd,did not score very highly on the field test. In the past the eye hospital could see no specific reason for this. Does anyone else have this problem, would welcome any comments.
