Scotoma: Hi all,I noticed a small blind spot... - Macular Society
Scotoma
I have scotomas in both eyes. Mine are due to long-term Central Serous Retinopathy but there are other conditions which cause this. Please do not be scared about seeing your doctor and ask for a referral to the ophthalmologist at your local hospital. They won't do anything without your consent so there is nothing to be scared of. You may be missing out on treatment which could prevent your condition worsening. I've had all sorts of treatments on my eyes over the last few years and I have never felt any pain at all.
Good luck x
Hello Mojorisin,
Who has identified the three scotoma in your eye, was it an ophthalmologist at the eye clinic and if so, did they offer any diagnosis and what have they advised as the next step?
