Chronic car and bilateral posterier staphyloma with dome like configeration

Hi all. I have had chronic csr for 12 years now my last eye appointment was in Jan 2020 due to covid all other appointments cancelled. I'm able to access my doctors notes my Jan scans showed I had bilateral posterier staphyloma with dome like configuration. Anyone have any info on this condition I also have high myopic. Dear Mandy,

Have you tried contacting your ophthalmologist via their secretary for more information on this condition? It may be worth doing this as then they would be able to explain it to you in relation to your eyes in particular. You could also clarify if there is any relationship to your CSR and if there are any particular concerns linked to your high myopia.

Hi I have a phone consultation with my specialist 16 july. I had scans 2 weeks ago due to changes in the amstler grid so I will ask questions then , thank you regards mandy

Could it be some shaped macula? I have myopic degeneration and have the dome shaped macula. Google it.
