Had my 1st eye injection at St James Hospital Leeds. The procedure went really well and all necessary precautions were taken to prevent contact with others due to Covid19. I don't know when my next one will be as staff may be deployed elsewhere until the current situation is over. I just want to praise the staff and let others know not to worry about having the procedure, just hoping once my eye clears it has helped to stabilise my condition

That's very thoughtful of you to post your experience to help others. All the best.
Fingers crossed for you Kit19 xx glad to hear it went well and done safely.
Best wishes going forwards.
Thank you so much for this reassurance. I’m due for double injections soon and was getting rather worried as when I called the hospital as requested they seemed not to understand my concerns especially as it is a long wait for eye test, then scan then injection. I daresay they may go straight to injection? Did you have tests and scan before injection?
Absollutely! All kinds of tests before the first injection. And the injection is not as bad as it sounds because you do not feel anything. Good luck.
