Hi Tia76. Has he been diagnosed with wet or dry macular degeneration? If wet, has your partner had injections for it? Has he told his opthalmologist about the pain he is experiencing?
He should speak to his eye doc. Eye pain shouldn't be ignored as it can indicate serious problem.
Likely though that he has Dry Eye. This is an actual condition and the pain it causes shouldn't be underestimated . Drops do help enormously but he should get advice from eye doc first and a proper diagnosis.
Hi Tia76 . I had the same problem feeling uncomfortable and with pain my doctor prescribed OPTIVE eye drops and I regularly use it. specially when I have injection
and daily as and when I feel pain I use the drops.
I certainly get comfort and I often repeat the drops IF I have to but once or twice
in a day is enough for me. You can buy over the counter mine are prescribed
this OPTIVE drops get a 10ml bottle and try.
I am sure your partner will feel comfortable.
All the best keep posted.
