Injection while suffering from sinusitis?

I have an injection coming up next Thursday, Jan 16. Since New year I have had a horrible fluey cold which has morphed into sinusitis - nose full of gunk, headaches, all the usual stuff. Hopefully it will subside in the week, but could there be a problem if it doesn't? It doesn't seem infected at the moment - would it be a problem if it were?

Good Morning ElviraKate,

Please contact your eye clinic to discuss with them, there are many reasons why they may not be able to inject on the day and they will be able to discuss with you what their policies and procedures are regarding colds, flues, other illnesses etc.

Hope you feel better soon!

Becky
