Went to a new specialist and he gave me Avastin injection in both eyes on the same day. This was my 4th injection series and other doctors would not do same day injections. It is better for me due to distance I must travel. Some say it is a risk if one had an issue...this doc says most docs don't do it so they make more...anyone else have both done at once?

I'm sure I wouldn't want the soreness I've had once or twice afterwards, when the anaesthetic has worn off, in both eyes, it's really more than I want in one eye!
I have injections in both eyes every time. Not nice but at least it’s all over at once
I got shots in both eyes for one year. There is only one doctor in the office that will do both. She uses different nurses to get me ready
for each eye and also they put me in a different room for each eye
to be as careful as they can so there isn't any cross contamination.
I'd rather take my chances then go through that misery 2 weeks
in a row. I now only get one eye done because my right eye has been stable for 6 months. But my left eye has to have a double
dose of Lucentis which seems to be helping.
I always have issues with pain & burning that evening. But now
they rinse my eye out better & put in a gel with a gauze patch afterwards. It helps allot with the discomfort but of course I
don't do that when I have both eyes done. For some reason
the left eye is always more sensitive for me.
