Floaters and dots before my eyes

Hello I am new to this site. I have suddenly have found that the floaters in my eyes have increased and along with the ones I have had for years I now have lots of dots in my vision. I have had diabetes type 2 since 2013 and am on medication for this. Does anyone else find their floaters get worse when they are tired? or worse when they are under stress? Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi. Please seek advice from your eye clinic where you have your annual diabetic check (or optician if for some reason you don't go to a clinic).

Increased floaters can be a sign of a problem ( though not always so don't panic). Better be safe than sorry so don't put off getting it checked out.

Thank you - I am due a diabetic eye check at the end of the month.

I wouldn't wait that long myself. If you contact them now they can either tell you it's fine to wait or see you sooner if it's warranted.
