My dominant eye is smaller than my non-dominant eye which gradually continues to increase in size at a significantly low rate, but has started to become noticeable to others. It appears wider and slightly veers off away from my nose. I have no pain or irritation in either eyes and I think I've developed it from watching monitors for hours on end. Ive read online that patching the good eye will make my eyes more symmetrical however i prefer the size of my dominant eye which is smaller than the other. If I patch my dominant eye will it make the other get even bigger than it already is? How would I go about this problem to make my eye shrink back down again so to speak? I cant seem to find an answer anywhere.... This is not a riddle lol.

Dominant eye smaller than non-dominant. Help.
Hi goatnetwork18
I doubt that your problem is due to watching monitors or using computers too much, but there could be a number of real causes for this to happen. The most common cause of the "appearance" that one eye seems smaller than the other is a drooping eyelid. This may only be so slight that you hardly notice it, but it does not account for the larger eye to veer away from your nose. Wearing an eye patch is not likely to help, as they are used for strabismus (crossed eyes) or ptosis (lazy eye) to encourage the affected eye to work harder so that both eyes focus together; it does nothing to the shape and size of your eyes.
I do not intend to reel off what may or may not be happening to you. Your first port of call should be an optometrist at a good optition as soon as possible, just to make sure there is nothing sinister going on at the back of your eye. It certainly needs to be investigated. All the best. Keep us posted how you get on.
Think you need to visit your optician to get eyes checked out, it's possible something is going on. Good luck.
As has been said there must be something going on around the eye which needs a visit to an optician. Our eyes reach maximum size in childhood and remain the same size thereafter.
Dear goatnetwork18,
It would be advisable to initially discuss your concerns with your optometrist. If they feel that a referral is warranted, then they can do this for you.

Curious goat, this is an old post from two years ago, poster may not still be in group. Don't wait for reply, go to optician who can check and refer if necessary.
