Hi everyone ..i am so pleased to tell you ..after having to chase apps and worrying they were going to be late ,,,had my app in post today for inj on 7th Sept ...right on time

you could suggest they give you next appointment when you are thee on 7th- Moorfields does that so you come away with the letter

I had a hell of a job getting my appointment on time. I wrote an absolute diatribe to East Cheshire NHS Trust with copies to MP, GP, Consultant, Bookings team, Macular Soc. I don't know who worked the oracle, but I'm going to get my appointment bang on time.

What puzzles me tho' is Cons. Secretary is adamant I have an appointment for laser treatment early Sept. in the middle of a course of Eylea injections???? (Next Inj. appmt. the one I had fight tooth and nail for, is 31/8/17, and 3rd. inj. will be due 30/9/17).

Has anyone heard of laser treatment in the middle of Eylea injections? Secretary doesn't know. Obviously I'll ask when I see Cons. on 31st. Nobody, but nobody has written or phoned ME to tell me about this laser treatment. You know I'm only the patient!?

More on this anon; but if anyone can throw light on this oddity of having laser work in the middle of a course of Eylea injections I'd be grateful to hear it. Thanks. And many thanks to Macular Sic. who REALLY HELPED me!!
