Hello Suejoyce,

Headaches are not directly related to the macular condition. It may be worth checking on these with your GP.

Individuals with a macular condition can develop a tendency towards a heightened sensitivity to glare. Therefore, in addition, it may be worth trying some anti-glare protection spectacles. Please contact the Macular Society helpline for a list of suppliers details.

Hi suejoyce, my gp told me if our eyes are different then we can get eye strain from the difficulty focusing and that can cause headaches.
