I'm currently on holiday abroad and I think I have another bleed. It's 6 days before I get home. Will it be safe to wait or should I go to the hospital?

Hello,

I am sorry to read of your current concerns.

Are you currently receiving injections in the UK? If so, it may be advisable to ring your ophthalmologist's secretary and flag up your concerns and ask their advice. It would also be advisable to check with them about flying.

If you need your ophthalmologist's contact details, our helpline is open 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday on 0300 3030 111.

Kind regards
