I normally use a heated mask to help with my dry eyes and mild blepharitis. I had my Eyelea injection this morning and wondered if it is okay to use the heated mask tonight after having had the injection.
Thanks for any help

Good Afternoon Koalajane,
I would double check with the eyeclinic, we aren't aware if this is ok or if it should be avoided so best to check with them
All the best

They have always told me cold compresses they never mentioned heat so I would ask
I wouldn't know Koalajane but I wouldn't think it wise. x
If I've got post inj pain I use heated pad at the side of face / forehead ie not touching eye to distract from pain in eye. Use mine with migraine too and arthritis in hands - works for me although cold works better at reducing swelling I find heat more relaxing.
I did ring the eye clinic who said it was fine to use.
Because you have to maintain the strictest hygiene for five or so days until injection site heals I would avoid, but use copious amount of sterile eye drops containing Hypomellose. Do ask your clinic though.
Great ...just make sure it’s really clean!
