Copper/magnetic bracelets

Has anyone used either copper or magnetic jewellery and have they found any benefits? I was thinking of buying a bracelet.

Thanks.

I wear one - a bioflow relay magnetic bracelet.

I was skeptical so my first purchase from them was a CAT collar version (for my ailing cat, not me!!) I went home, went up to my room ( know thy cats habits!) changed her collar to the magnetic one, gave her a fuss, went down for dinner & about 9.30pm she walked in the lounge & my mum commented that the injection/tablet I gave my cat must be fast acting as she wasnt limping at all!! It was 2 days before I told her all I did was change the collar!!!

I have worn one since. I had no problem getting used to mine but some do and so only wear it at night to start with as the detox can make you feel queasy.

I was told by my old Rheumy when he saw me wear it that if I was going to waste money on alternative therapies the HE REFUSES TO TREAT ME IN THE FUTURE! However when I went wearing MBT shoes the nurse told me ARC magazine had an article in saying how good they were & to be honest if I wear 'normal' shoes struggle to walk nowadays - my boots, shoes & sandals are fit-flop/MBT.

Thanks for letting me know, I've just looked at these, they're pretty expensive aren't they? However, if they work it's worth it. Was there a particular reason you chose the bioflow and not the cheaper magnetic or copper types?

I'm shocked by your rheumy's comments. Mine is very sceptical about alternative therapies but is not against me trying them and reporting back.

The bioflow distributor came into the vets where I worked. My friend said recently they had gone up in price.

Why not try the little stick on magnetic therapy. £1 for 10 little round plasters with a magnet - from one of our many pound shops.

I've not seen these - thanks, I will look out for them.

My brother swore by MOJO wristbands. Was convinced that they were a miracle cure for all ills. He got me one. I have been wearing it constantly since January.

I honestly cant say that it has been of any use.

I dont know if it is meant to be similar in any way.

My husband has been wearing magnetic ones for about 15 years and he swears by them in respect of joint pain. He started with metal magnetic one from Magnetic Therapy but now I get him Trionz magnetic bracelets which are like elasticated bands for wrists or around the neck.

I think it is a matter of choice - for example, I am not convinced they help, I would rather take Turmeric capsules.

I have scoliosis of the spine and I found painkillers only work for so long, so I wear a copper bracelet, the downside they make your wrist go green from the copper but it soon cleans off, but I'm prepared to do that if it brings my pain level from an 8 to a 1.

Some people say they work, some say they don't. I've never had any side effects with it, just a bit of heat from the bracelet has it tunes into your body. but I've never had a doctor complain about me wearing one, I think most doctors are open to anything that might help their patients.

I have had a BIOFLOW bracelet for many years and swear by it. My husband also has one.Hhe lost his on holiday many years ago, and suffered with like a tennis elbow pain. On returning from hols I got him another one and all the discomfort within a couple of days had gone, They are brilliant. We both wear them 24/7.

My hubby and I have a bracelet each - and our pets, two dogs and a cat, had Bioflow collars (for several years before going to pets' heaven at 14, 16 and 23 years of age ..wonder where I put those..?!). Don't think their old age was due to the magnets only ..but still. I am 65 and my husband hit 72 the other week... Good luck! xxx :)

I was looking on the net last night & noticed that, while they dont have all styles of bracelets/wristbands, "simply magnetic" have a SALE & were the cheapest I found... so I went back to their site & I ordered a new "silver" one cos mine took a battering several years ago & I lost one of the magnets. I have been promising myself I will replace it for years. Its a different style but heck why not!

Not what you're looking for?
