Thank you to those who responded to the blog calling for volunteers to help get a new group started in Herts and Beds. Thanks to this site and facebook, a total of six volunteers, (all, but 2 based in West Herts) have come forward in the last week or so, including a family member who holds a qualification in charity accounting.
If you reside within the Herts and Beds area and think yourself, family or friends might like to be involved. please blog or drop me a message.

Hi Lucy-may
Good to hear from you and thank you for offering your support to the Hertfordshire.and Bedfordshire Lupus Group. At the moment we are interested in knowing how many people would like to be involved in helping to get the group started. Volunteers and members are welcome from all backgrounds with a wide variety of skills and abilities. Ideally, they are a Lupus sufferer, like yourself, or someone who cares for someone with Lupus.
Hopefully, responses are good and we can progress things further sometime in the new year. I will keep you posted.
