my hip replacement snapped 3 years ago and the are going to take that out due to infection. am i entitled to a blue bag or any benefits?

Hi Gazz,
You may well be entitled. You'll be assessed, not based on any ailments that you have, but purely on how your mobility and ability to care for yourself are compromised.
You can apply for a blue badge online by going here - gov.uk/blue-badge-scheme-in...
You may be entitled to Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and if you don't work, you may also be eligible for Employment Support Allowance.
Your best way to find out what you may be able to apply for and receive help with the forms is to go to your local citizens advice bureau or D.I.A.L.
