What is the latest successful treatment for SLE???

There is no simple answer to this I'm afraid. Due to the nature of lupus, everybody responds to treatments differently. The newest treatment for lupus is Belimumab (not currently licensed in the UK) though this treatment will only be used in severe cases where other treatment options have been attempted and were unsuccessful. Though not everybody will respond well to Belimumab.

Many people respond well to Hydroxycholorquine, which is one of the older treatments for lupus.
