I have pain when i walk and have a blue badge. I went through the council. I think you can also ask the doctor to help you get one. Some councils are better than others at issuing them. Good luck.

possibly.I enquired about getting a free bus pass yesterday,I think this uses similar criteria and the lady said that you don't necessarily need to be in receipt of disability or to be totally unable to walk..She said that if I'm taking medication that could impair my ability to drive (didn't tell her that I cant drive anyway lol) and or I find walking difficult then I should be able to get a free pass so I don't see why you couldn't get a blue badge.Ring the council.

I have got a blue badge, its not so much a specific diagnosis but what problems you have with mobility. My GP had to give a report but I got my badge with no problem.

You are automatically eligible for a Blue Badge if you get high rate mobility DLA (although you still have to apply); if not, you will probably have a medical assessment. It helps if your GP supports your application (which as said above, has to be be done through your local authority). Realistically the Blue Badge is there for anyone who has problems walking even 50 metres before feeling severe discomfort or exhaustion, so if you think that fits your case, then you can probably get one (and if you don't have DLA then you should also be applying for that!) You can start the process using this link:

Good luck with it
