I've been getting shaRp pains below the left hand side of my stomach near my hip! It happens around once a month and gets more painful!

my daughter was admitted but nothing found. She was just put on morphine. Also find that if she has been on co-codomol she gets pains. The consultant said not to take more than 3 days as it can cause problems like constipation.

maybe it is caused by your ovary,my daughter has had ovarian cysts which caused her pain in the area you are talking about.Sandy

Is it around the middle of your monthly cycle? If so, it could just be your ovary releasing an egg.

This could be endometriosis or ovarian cysts or ...

A pelvic ultrasound would identify and or rule out cysts.

Best to consult with your doctor/s - GYNO. Best not to ignore and carry on. Identify the problem and sort out best line of treatment / relief.

Sometimes heat compress can minimize discomfort.

I get the same problem and as far as I know it's ovulation pain, and it only lasts one day! i do have to take pain killers though sometimes cos the pain is so severe! But still get it checked out. take care x
