itching everywhere !

Thought i got away with no side affects from taking Pla........ but now keep itching all over ( been taking it a week now) anyone else experienced this ? when is it likely to settle ?

Ive been on the drug now for two weeks and my itching has now gone. It was my legs mainly. I used Aloe Vera gel. I keep it in the fridge and it really helps.

Try not to scratch! Let me know how you get on

I get itching on and off constantly, and I've been on the meds for 6 years now

i have been itching for months it drives me mad its mostly my armsI have tried all sorts of creams and antihistamines but nothing seems to help, Im currently not on any meds for my lupus as ive had a reaction to 2 different lots !!! does it ever get any better?? x

stopped itching today thankfully ! hope it dosent start again !

Hi there, I have been on plaquenil since august. Last month itching all over, before I know it I have scratched which then starts off a cycle of the most intense mental itchiness ever, end up in tears can last up to an hour. not confined to the area where I scratched. Mainly on arms & legs. Drives me mad, worsened about 1 month after they upped my dosage. On fexofenadine 180 mg (antihistamine from GP) rhuematologist recommended it. seems to be really helping.

I was taken off it after 3 months of severe itching and an adverse allergic reaction that caused a major rash all over my back
