Hello everyoneJust thought i'd pop up to show you all this Extra Special little cutie. He's an African Wild Ass , one of the rarest mammals on the planet. This little one was born at Marwell Zoo on August 20th . There are fewer than 200 left in the wild so staff at the Zoo were thrilled to have this new arrival.
Do hope you like him too and your all as well as possible. The darker evenings are tough aren't they?.
Take Care
MistyX
P.s, i've still got some shingles lesions and the awful fatigue but luckily the pain is much better.
I've found a great new gp at our surgery whose special interest is gastroenterology luckily!. I saw him this week and he was great explaining all about the gallbladder op.
If any of you have very specific symptoms like that , its so worth researching your gp surgeries to try to find one with specialist knowledge in that area. It makes such a difference to our care and consultations. Xx

Absolutely gorgeous l I send you the biggest of hugs or Cwtches as we call them in Wales and hope those horrid shingles lesions are soon cleared up. How lovely, and long overdue to have a GP who takes an interest xxx
Thank you cecily for your lovely message. Glad you liked the lovely little fella. Hope your feeling a lot better now. I wish the fatigue would improve as its really affecting my life day to day. Its always a big problem for us.
I'm lucky now i've got 2 good gp's who jobshare who i can see/ask advice of!.
What did you make of Shirley's marking on Strictly?.
Sending you big cwitches back cecily. Hope you have a good week. Xx
Firstly I LOVED Strictly, who knew Nigel Harmon could dance like that but Shirley as always had it in for one or two including Angela Scanlon yet loved Les Dennis?? π€ She seems to be out Craigingn Craig. Right choice to leave though. Did you enjoy it too? Xxx
I'm so sorry you've had such a miserable time after your birthday. Cecily. I can't believe how badly you were treated at the dentist. He should be reported as its not your fault you've got a UTI and you shouldn't get struck off either. Shirley nearly lost it didn't she, laying into that male contestant which was so surprising. I'm loving Angela ,Annabel and Amanda. All with my favourite professionals. Its just the escapism we need.
He is normally lovely but it was a difficult job, they have no receptionist and it was taking so long. I just didnβt need that much pulling about today. I think it was Nigel she lost it with, totally uncalled for then Moxie said he woukd be kept in because of his face π‘Unacceptable comment and so wrong. I love Amanda, Angela S, Bobby,Nigel Eddie and Ellie. It really is so good xxx
Already you can see who are the contenders and who not and this is week 2!!. Cecily. I had hoped Les would be kept a little longer as he's the funny one!. I was really surprised at Shirley's tirade as it came out of the blue!. Do hope you feel better soon. Xxπ΄π€
Oh yes cecily, remember that. He would have gone further in the competition as he was good. Wonder who will she berate this week. Enjoy the show. Xxπππ
I will. Autumn has the best tv for me..Strictly, Bake Off,All Creatures Great and Small,Handmade Britain, and Big Brother is starting again. I will have square eyes lol π€ xxx
You have my full sympathy lovely. I've been on the UTI roundabout for months . Just when I thought my gp had found a cure( not had one for 7 weeks) with estrogen gel it's raised its ugly head again! Not sure about Wales but in England it has to be a red top bottle for the repeat sample after the treatment has finished. The red top gets sent to the lab. Ordinary urine bottles only get dipped at the surgery, so things can be missed. Which again really stuffed me up for months as the infection had never actually cleared.
You know about the pain we had when losing bonny. It's been a tough time.
We are now walking our elderly neighbours' dog for him as he's no longer able and it's brought joy to our lives.
I was worry st first it would upset me, but it's made me think about bonny, our walks and triggered some lovely memories that have made me smile ,so it's definitely been the right thing to do x
Loss is so awful I know. I just fell apart when we lost both our beautiful boys last year. Finlay has filled the hole in our hearts and we have found the most amazing service. They pick him up with a van load of dogs and they go running in the mountain. The beach, the lake areas. On a Saturday they have β field tripsβ to the adventure park. They have seassaws, tyres, ponds, big toys, rope tugs, sprinklers . Twelve dogs let loose playing running, getting wet and muddy for three hours. I would dearly, dearly love to be with my boys but my legs and balance have other ideas currently. The service provides photos and videos every day to ensure I can vicariously be a part of it all. The gratitude I feel is immeasurable. I love them so much. The service even provides puppy sitting when I go to the hospital or recently out for my Birthday. What you are doing for your neighbour will mean far more than you know bless you xxx
Oh how lovely you have found thus help. I'm so happy finlay has brought joy to you.Well he is the best neighbour you could ever wish for so it was a no brained for us.
Thank you, he is THE most handsome boy. My heart boy. I love him with a passion. Skye is an angry little wasp bless him, such a spirited boy but gorgeous and so loving. We are blessed xxx
π π π He is just the cutest π₯° With his striped legs looks like a cross between a donkey and a zebra. He could however just have his pyjamas on! Xx π« π«
Haha ge, what a lovely thought!. Perhaps he's trying to make up his mind which he'd like to be?!. So pleased you liked him. How are you doing?. I do hope your improving. Xxπ΄ππ¦
Thankyou so much for sharing..absolutely beautiful..great to hear the part she will play the preservation of her species..good to hear about your GP too..take Care..have a lovely day π¦π»π»
Thank you tjo for your lovely, appreciative reply. I do like passing on the good news of so much being achieved in conservation of animals. We hear so much bad news don't we?. I hope you are doing well and you have a good week. Xxπ΄ππ΄π€π΄ππ΄π€π΄π
I'm extra specially fortunate striated as it means i've got 2 good gp's working together. My original gp and gastro gp job share the week which is happening a lot in general practice. Your right though having a clinician who understands these illnesses makes such a difference to our care.
How are you getting on?. Any nearer a diagnosis yet?. Xxπ΄ππ΄π€π΄ππ΄π€
Oh Misty, youβve surpassed yourself this time! Heβs SO cute and adorable.π
I agree about finding a GP in your own surgery who specialises in certain fields. Our surgeryβs website introduces all our GPs and states what their specialities are. For that reason when I was diagnosed with angina and coronary artery spasms I started seeing Dr Nick who specialises in cardiology (having worked in the cardiology until at the hospital before joining our surgery about 15 years ago) but still see Dr Fiona for ladies matters and anxiety and depression.
Good to hear the pain has reduced and I hope it sinβt long until the last of the shingles lesions clear up and the fatigue disappears.
Thanks for the lovely post Misty. Take care. ππ€πXxxxx
Thank you spotty for your lovely reply. I'm glad you liked the little fella, lovely to have something different. Yes, our gp surgery website has similar info about all the doctors like yours. Mr Gastro had worked at our local hospital doing endoscopies and had decided later on to become a GP like your dr N. Its a real boon to get more knowledgable and experienced dr's as gp's isn't it?. I may well have him as my usual gp like you did spotty in the future.
I hope you have a better week and thanks for your lovely wishes. Xxπ΄ππ΄π€π΄π
That wee fella is definitely different and so cute. π
Yes, it is great that some GPs have experience and expertise of working in a certain hospital department. They are such an asset to the practice. It sounds a good idea to use your Gastro expert as your regular GP while you are waiting for your op.
Take good care of yourself Misty, and keep the cuties coming whenever you can manage them. They brighten our day for us. πππ₯° xxxx
Picture is so gorgeous thanks so much for posting β¦ I thought it was a little deer π¦.
that is a brilliant idea about finding out who specialises in what at the surgery and thanks to google we can google them all π. Interesting point Misty as OH has had cyst near eye and I sent a pic in to surgery and abracadabra his GP is dermatology trained and is removing it ! Sending you the biggest hug π€ xxxx

So glad you liked the pic Bonny B. Thank you for your lovely message. I've just got the last few lesions to go now on chest and back. Pain is hugely better, just the fatigue is still hard but thats true for our illnesses too. I hope your keeping as well as you can. Xx

Hope Bea and Mira are looking after you both. Xxππππππππππππ
Hi Misty! I love this little guy. So adorable! you come up with the best pics. Glad to hear your new GP is knowledgeable. That is such a great help. I just had my bone density scan today. It will determine if I have to take prolia. I have been putting that off in spite of all the broken bones so will probably give in if it is worse. Still have the strange hallucinations and intestinal issues, but kind of used to all of it.
Can't wait until your next cutie pic. Take good care.
Thank you dear Pumpkin for your lovely message. So glad you liked the wildass. I wasn't sure about using him as he's such a different animal but i needn't have worried!. Had such a lovely response from you all. I will keep my π€for your important Dexa Results. Do hope you have a nice surprise!. Its horrid waiting for results isn't it?. So sorry your still suffering hallucinations and intestinal problems!!. Maybe they are linked?. Not nice for you at all. Sending lots of healing hugs to you too. Xxπ€ππ€π
