Hey, don't give up, keep a note of how you feel, whenever there is a low point it is normally followed by a high. I have just come through exactly the same (apart from the bowel problems). I had the feeling that I had been trampled by elephants. Now I am on the up again. I take it your medical team are not helping much? Anyway, take care.

I'm sorry you feel so bad, I know how horrible it can be but it will get better; hold on to that fact. Also try chopping up apples and eating as you feel comfortable.Take care x

I have the bowel problems of rapid dumping, yes a medical term for it! So I know how you feel as well as blisters! They say rinsing your mouth with Malox and anti acid helps relieve it and it couldn't hurt your stomach either! Don't give up, my hubby had 3 cancer bouts and a heart attack this year and I have spots on my kidney liver and pancreas! thanks to Lupus! You must not give up!!! You keep on fighting till the end as the song goes!!! Have your self a good snotty cry and then fix some chamomile tea and get out of the house for a while!!! It does help! God Bless!

No Jaxqueline my consultant is rubbish she just says you'll be fine then laughs still waiting for an appointment to see her since last year she does'nt rush herself i feel like shes not being 100% honest with me at times but my GP hes great trys his best and does everything he can to help me i can talk to him better. xx

Hi, I would go to your GP and ask to be refered to a different hospital. I don't know where you live or how far you can travel but St Thomas Hospital in London is fantastic they have a place on site that you can stay over night and only charge £50 per night per room (try finding anything else in London for that price). I also know that Aintree Hospital in Liverpool have a Prof Moots who is supposed to be really really good, your Gp can ref to Liverpool and I was refered to London via my Reumy.

Then again it might just need a fresh face at a new local hospital.

anyway hope the curtain on a good day raises soon.

I have had same problem, not vomiting but feeling nauseous since August with on/off bouts of it and rapid dumping as its being put. I have only recently been diagnosed with SLE / Sjogrens. I wasnt sure whether the stomach problems are related to SLE ? If it is related what can they give you for it and how can they make it better like jennie73 i cant handle it.

Im having a CT scan friday as my gastric DR says it could be the statins im taking as they can give you pancreatitis. Help Lou

Hi Lucylou31,

My GP gave me motilium for the nausea you can by them over the counter if you cant get to your GP.For the bowel problem he gave me Loperamide but they dont really work still got the problem and you can also buy them over the counter.I've had the camera down few years ago, and about 4 weeks ago I had the camera up still waiting for those results.

Good Luck hope this helps you xx
