I agree with Kevin53. Contact Lupus UK they will point you in the right direction. Their magazines list several excellent books. All good wishes.

HiI also agree with the others Lupus uk really helped me to try and understand the condition.

I was diagnosed 2 years ago and am still learning about it. This forum is extremely helpful because all on here have the same condition. If I'm unsure about anything someone on here has the answer. Such great people.

Good luck

At the foot of this Lupus UK page there are links for doctors

lupusuk.org.uk/medical/lupu...

The book that is advertised on this page 'Lupus Diagnosis and Treatment' is intended for GPs and associated health professionals

In 2020 edition it says on the last page it "will also make a good text on the subject for patients and their families who are increasingly literate in medicine and the medical sciences".

I bought a second hand copy of Dr Donald Thomas' The Lupus Encyclopedia' after watching a Lupus Foundation of America - Expert series

Session 1, Episode 1: Managing and Preventing Flares

lupus.org/resources/lupus-t...

was given by by Donald Thomas, I then watched other of his videos on YouTube.

You could read my book “How to Stay Sane in Pain - Clarity, Resilience and Calm with Lupus” by Karen Drennan-McEwan which was written with invaluable contributions from people on this forum and is 5 star rated on Amazon. E-book and paperback options available.
