Too much, is the only comment I could make. When I feel myself being a bit fragile I head for Netflix to help me along the way to disassociation. I'll look up the article, thanks x

If that is the only story the guardian can come up with about Clinically vulnerable who have been shielding for 2years then I worry about the quality of their journalism!!!

Hi weathervane, Frances Ryan is a prolific writer on disability, being disabled herself and also CEV and has championed us throughout the pandemic both in The Guardian and on Twitter. She tweeted she wanted to write something a little more lighthearted for once and was looking for shielders’ experiences. Do look up her writing in The Guardian.

I did read that article as well . Just feel asking what you spent your time watching is dumbing down the the real worries we have .

No boring, silly tv soaps!

But a huge amount of documentaries and wonderful natural history tv: BBCi player, BBC HYS, online Google research, news websites, tweeting on Twitter, lupus pamphlet online reading, online shopping, email, more documentaries, brain teasers, wordling, Nerdling, Quordling, killer sudoku, online quizzes, online commentary, futoshiki, YouTube educational videos, music, guitar tutorials, song tutorials, crosswords, maths, dietary info, wiki, immune system online research, orchid care, garden care, weather and flood videos, old comedy series, photo editing videos…all on my tablet computer!👆👏 daily lupus research and more! No silly, fraudulent social media like faecesbook! No subscription channels ever required. Free!👆

Thanks. I live on my own and am seriously visually impaired so have to have the iPad screen right up to my face. Large tv screens and laptops won’t do! Otherwise I’ll be crouching down all day.

Oh I’m so sorry. That makes what you have achieved even more impressive debsgm.

I started out well working on a novel I’d nearly finished writing, until my Dad’s Parkinson’s became terminal and then my mother in law died and then an aunt, and then grief and brain fog set in and it’s still not finished 🙄🙄😩 Lots of Amazon prime viewing has taken over 🙄🙄🙄

Yes, grief has never left me. Lupus can and will never give closure. When loved ones die you’re thinking please spare the flare up, oh God please!

With Amazon I have been tempted mainly for tennis but there’s always highlights on YouTube🤣.

With any piece of writing it’s always that last hurdle for most but with brain fog Oh my god! 😥

Relax!👏

Binged watch alot of Africa comedies. It distracted me from the sad and depressing news on the TV. Subscribed to Now TV to watch the movies I could not watch in cinema. Netflix and Prime video.

I’m not usually a comedy person but I like the sound of Africa comedies. How can we find them in the UK ijeasike?

I am Nigerian so we have a lot of comedy on YouTube. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but I sure made me smile. Professor Johnbull nollywood and papa benji nollywood
