Hi my husband has lupus and gets very hot, pulsating and swollen feet… we are going on holiday this year and will be on a 5 hour flight … he can’t stand anything tight on his feet … even socks sometimes… so I’m wondering what we can do on the flight to help … also worry about debt if he can’t wear the flight socks . Thanks any input welcome 🤗

Yes dvt… He can’t bear anything tight on his legs and feet .. I’m not worried about the cost of them 😂😂

There was a good link about burning feet posted recently by Barnclown, that may provide some tips for your husband.

Flight socks are very tight, I hate them. I’d just keep moving your feet while sitting on chair and going as much walks up and down the plane when possible. There is usually a wee leaflet with exercises on planes showing you what do do.

Hi I get very badly swollen feet and I wear Birkenstocks which really help with the pain. I hope you find something to help your husband xx

Hi Tayzee,

Bit of a long shot as I know he already feels hot with his feet but I find with swelling on my feet/ body that heat helps with the swelling. I use paraffin wax to help with swelling in hands and feet and you can get mittons/ foot 'heated booties' usually used for spa purposes. May be worth a try as they're not tight on the feet. Hope he manages to find something to help
