Messed up with my immunosuppressive medication

Hey, have you ppl ever messed up with your immunosuppressive medications? I mean some mistake like taken it along with other medicines, or failed maintaining the timeline or maintaining empty stomach clause before and after or all together missed a dose or something else? If yes, what did you do next, the moment you realised your mistake? Plz share your experience and advice. I have mistakenly taken my immunosuppressive medicine (Renfor 360) along with predicylone (5 mg)... And I am too scared. Plz help.

Hi there, why are you scared? What is the risk of taking those two together? When I mix the meds I pay attention to interaction side effects and take action if there are any accordingly.

Have u been told not to take immunosuppressive with prednisolone then? I'm not familiar with Renfor but I do take Methotrexate which is an immunosuppressant..I take it once a week. I'm also on 5.5mgs of Prednisolone and I do take them at the same time as the Methotrexate. I've never been told that taking them together might cause problems.

I take Azathioprine with Prednisolone, and with hydroxycholoquin at night. No problems . Your pharmacist is definitely the best person to ask , they are more knowledgeable about this than GPS. Try not to worry .

Like Potatoheat, I take azathioprine at the same time as my prednisolone. I am sure that your pharmacist could set your mind at rest.
