Does anyone take Celebrex ?

Hi Everyone ,

Does anybody else take Celebrex? I am on hydroxychloroquine Azathiropine, to mention just a few for the Lupus and Sjogren's. I now have Osteoarthritis in most joints and my consultant has prescribed CELEBREX. I am wary of taking more meds but I am really struggling with my joints stiffness and swelling. I know everyone is unique but just wondered if Celebrex helped , and is there any advice or experience that you could share?

Hello Angela. I have SLE and have taken Celebrex for the past 6 months for joint pain. I have found it really helpful and have tolerated it well. I can do much more now that I am on it. I have gut issues so I take omeprazole and gaviscon with it and ensure I take it with food as it can irritate your stomach. Take care

Hi Thank you ,I am pleased to hear it has helped and things have improved for you .I already take omeprazole so hopefully it will be enough to protect my stomach . The things we go through! Take care
