There was me happily looking forward to shielding ending 21st Feb and..........., blasted email arrives and it's been pushed back to the end of March.
Oh well more sewing and embroidery and sending Hubby round the bend. Starting to wonder if it will last until we've been given the second dose of vaccine.

I wouldnt of stopped shielding on the 21st .I will most probably continue until after I've had my second vaccine at the beginning of may so more knitting for me.....no excuse not to finish my grandsons Duggee jumper .Happy sewing take it easy keep smiling xx🤗xx
I was gutted when I received the email about 31st March. I'm struggling more this time round and desperate to be back into some form of routine with work as I'm unable to work from home. I should be due my 2nd in May but hope we don't have to shield until then!
Hi Gre3neyedgirl..I feel very much the same..I desperately wanted to go back to work for the same reasons..I've had my jabs and understand the reasoning but cant wait to have some normality back.. be interesting to hear Boris,s announcement on monday..
Hi Gre3neyedgirl, yes it gutting. I should be getting my second jab end of April but my poor hubby is still waiting for his first one.My eldest son leaves in another town about 40 minutes away and he's in shielding too, he lost his wife in November (non-covid) and doesn't have a bubble so is even more isolated and lonely. I'll be glad when they ease travel restriction so at least we can get to see each other even if it's in the garden.
