I went for my Corvid vaccine today and could not have it because I have a few allergies (not Anaphylaxic) it would be unsafe for me to have Pfzer/BioNtech vaccine.
I phoned doctor when I came back as I was told at vaccine centre I would need a letter from doctors or book a vaccine there. I was told by doctors I was in group 5 and they were doing up to group 4. Barnsley are doing up to group 5 which was how I got an appointment for today.
I was also told by the doctors they had not had a delivery of vaccine. I was also told I will get a letter from the doctors to make an appointment at the surgery for the Oxford/Astra Zeneca vaccine.

good luck with it all, hope all goes smoothly for you, i received so much support on this forum today when i posted my question about covid and anaphylaxis LIKE allergic reaction with regard to being refused covid vaccination Tuesday , because the clinic my dr told me to go to was not full resuss setting... my dr now written to addenbrooks consultant for further allergy testing although in 2019 they said my allergic triggers are idiopathic ( unknown). , i may have to go to addenbrooks hospital for my vax, which i like millions of us, really want to have... and for the vast majority is a safe simple speedy process... just us few CEV and omplex individuals to channel through a slightly more tailored system. the replies may help you too ... i will keep the forum posted. very best wishes and thanks for sharing, Polly, sorry for lower case typing, pmr neck shoulder agony coming in waves. painful to type at times. x
