I saw this and it made me smile. Life is stressful and difficult at the moment for all of us so we need more joy. I hope this helps ❤️🐿

Hi CP♥️

Oh what a cutie patootie 😍.

I love the ear tufts.

Our squirrels 🐿 in our neighborhood don’t have these unique features. Makes it look distinguished.

Thanks for the warm fuzzies 🥰.

Luv ya bunches sweetie.

EJ 😊🤗♥️🥰🙏🕊🌿🌸🦋

You must post some photos of your squirrels Honeybug. They are such fascinating and intelligent little creatures. I have not seen a red squirrel for years but we have grey squirrels in-our local park. I love this photography where they show their beautiful little faces up close. I hope that you are keeping safe and warm lovely? It is freezing cold here in the U.K. but we haven’t had much in the way of snow at least. Big Cwtches and lots of love to you ❤️🐿🦊💐 xxx

It sure does - where I walk the dogs at a park there are the fatest squirrels 🐿 ever - there’s now a sign up please do not feed the squirrels 🐿- so cute x

No!!! Don’t feed them? I just could not resist it. When we lived in a Little garden flat in Torquay I spent a fortune on squirrel food, nuts etc . They kept me occupied watching their antics whilst Neil was in work. Are your squirrels red or grey? Xxx

Ahh that’s lovely , they are grey ones - about 8 off them - the girls love chasing them but they are way too quick x

Eight!! Omg that is just wonderful. I look forward to being able to go out to the park again to see the few that are there. I don’t think I would ever leave if I saw eight lol 🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿

Adorable 🥰 I have a family of 5 squirrels in the garden who are up to mischief , I told one off the other day trying to pull the felt off the shed roof, only to find they decided to chew through the wire of my string of solar lights , and to pull the furry hat off of one of the scarecrows🙈 and holes where they’re digging up all the conkers they buried earlier in the year, beautiful but always up to mischief 🤣🤣xx

Oh that sounds fabulous. I am sooo jealous. We only get crows, the occasional blackbird and Robin in our garden. We had a beautiful Acer which we bought for our first wedding anniversary and it started to attract the smaller birds which was lovely until one day we came home and found someone had deliberately jumped on it and snapped it in half. I was devastated, it was so pretty. I called the police, who 8n fairness probably thought I was mad but came out and questioned neighbours. It was telling that the one next door responded what tree?? We live in a terraced house and the tree was six foot. I would so love to have a big garden with ducks and squirrels and lots of different birds 🐿🦔🦆🐝🦋 xxx

That’s sad, acers are lovely aren’t they, I gave my dad a big beautiful red one when I moved here and each year he tells me how lovely it is in full leaf and it’s grown loads obviously too 😍 The coastal winds here damage them so I’ve no acer here but they are lovely. Yes I do count ourselves lucky here with abundance of wildlife (when they’re not causing damage 🤣) Though when I was checking shed over, after catching squirrel wrecking the felt roof I noticed a bundle of twigs and leaves under the shed, so guess that’s where the hedgehog is and not in compost heap as thought .

The squirrels are a good alert to cats or predators near the chooks, as they happily roam besides them but when they disappear high up in trees or chatter their warnings I know there is something around and chickens go on alert 😍

A few weeks ago I took a cup of coffee and slice of Xmas cake down the garden when doing the chooks ( elevenses on the go) , was turning the straw in the run and changing their water, came back round for my coffee and found a squirrel sitting on the bench munching my cake 🤣🤣

They are so funny on the golf course too, when I played they would unzip your golf bag and run off with any food in there (snickers is a favourite) 🤣 and last year before lockdown my husband said they opened his friends bag when he was teeing off and ran off with his car keys, which halted their game whilst they tried to get them back 🤣🤣 one even had the cheek to run in the pro shop and run out with a Mars bar🤣 the pro was brilliant he said he’d put it on his tab 🤣🤣

Have a good day cecily 👍🤗x

Wow I will now smile all day at the thought of their antics. That is amazing. I would have loved to have seen the squirrel eat your cake and the antics of unzipping bags is hilarious. I used to roar with laughter watching them dismantle the bird feeders when we were in the garden flat. The owner who lived upstairs used to put all sorts of deterrents to prevent the squirrels getting at the seeds and nuts but I am sure they were watching her attempts with pure scorn as whatever she tried was breached within minutes. Seeing them hanging upside down working away at the mechanisms always made my day and I used to have to hide as I chuckled when I heard her yell bloody squirrels as she returned to find her contraptions empty. 🐿🐿🐿 xxx

🤣🤣 thats funny 👍 As my son says ‘I love naughty animals, they make you smile. I get annoyed when they wreck my stuff, but they don’t know I want my shed and lights intact 🤣 I just have to find other ways to distract them. Monkey nuts usually help 🤣 temporarily 🙈🤣🤣xx
