Hi. Does anyone have any experience of getting really breathless with methotrexate?

"Methotrexate may cause lung damage. Tell your doctor if you have or have ever had lung disease. Call your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following symptoms: dry cough, fever, or shortness of breath."

It is one of the adverse effects that you should be told to tell your doctor immediately.

Thanks for your response. I've actually had two spells in hospital over the last month and scan has ruled out lung disease, clot, Covid... Got an appointment tomorrow for more test results, but if nothing shows up, the methotrexate is the only other thing I can think of. Been on it since August

Yes an I ended up with lung disease, changed my life, tell your consultant and make them listen please x
