Thank you we love him so much. When he was diagnosed with the liver condition that sent him blind we were told that he would have severe neurological damage and not live too long. We were devastated. Then the Veterinary eye hospital wanted him to take part in research as there is a comparable disease in humans called Stargardtz disease. We took him and they spent hours photographic and testing him getting him to respond to stimuli . They were shocked that despite the advanced blindness he showed no neurological deficits. They advice very high doses of vitamin E but told us to be prepared . He has a weakness on his back legs but he is as bouncy and energetic as a puppy. We will cherish him every day. He is our little miracle xxx
