I'm new here but been suffering since a young girl. Constant chest infections, joint pains and swelling, eye ulcers, nasal perforation, trigenimal neuralgia, fatigue. Water infections ovarian cysts, IBS bladder and bowel. Rhaynards, blisters, blepharitis, dry eyes and mouth ulcers blood clots in both lungs and pneumonia. So why is it that after all these years and countless hospital appointments, when I decided to go private, it now seems something is going to finally be done - consultant said lupus with secondary sjogrens syndrome- I feel so relieved that someone is fighting my corner. Is this normal to suffer like this - I can ride a bike for 25 miles but it takes me a week to get over it 😢.

I’m very pleased for you, getting the correct doctor is a real bonus. I hope this helps you in your journey with this illness. Best wishes x
