Good morning everyone- thank goodness itโs stopped raining as weโve had rain all weekend. Here is the last picture of Mira before she was groomed which was last week- she looks a different dog but still very cute. This picture is also of her mum Bea .
Have a good week โค๏ธ

They always look ready for mischief SV.they look so cosy in their fleeces....millie has the plum one ๐we havent had as much rain as some parts ( unusual for Cumbria) yesterday was a lovely day....got the grass cut for the last time ๐ patio furniture away ๐ .hope you have been forgiven you for taking them to be groomed.the vet took millie in on tues and came out in one piece ๐.... think she behaved better without me although I still think shes making me pay as shes been quite stubborn in where she will walk...๐ she is however losing muscle tone in her back legs now.....the Joy's of old age ๐.
Oh well upwards and out ....its a lovely morning for a walk xxxx
Just what I needed to perk me up after a sad and tragic Sunday night. ๐๐ฅฐ Mira and her lovely Mum never fail to make me smile. ๐ Thank you SO much Farmer. ๐๐ป๐๐ป
Thanks for asking Farmer. Iโm okay but quite emotional. Our good neighbour and friend didnโt return home from a local walk yesterday evening. Hubby joined the search for her and she was found dead by police having fallen 15 feet from a narrow path through the woods and landed on her head. My heart goes out to her hubby, 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Sheโll be sadly missed not least of all by me. Sorry to put a damper on your lovely post. But Mira and Bea did brighten my day. Thanks again. ๐ค๐
Iโm so sorry to have hi-jacked a part of your lovely post Farmer - that was not my intention. After what we went through on Sunday night I needed a smile so looked for your post as I knew Mira would make me smile and seeing her lovely Mum Bea too was a bonus. I already look forward to the next one. Thank you for these uplifting posts. I hope you are keeping well. How is Connor? I hope heโs happy and well. Take care. ๐ค๐x
Not at all Spotty-ewe - you had a really horrible time of it on Sunday - Iโm so glad you like the posts of Mira and bless you for asking about Connor, I usually see him once a week but last week was having a flaire up so didnโt see him but will be seeing him tomorrow, he loves me taking him to Asda of all places as he just loves looking at all the dvds - films and music which he loves - when we went couple of weeks ago they had all the tins of Christmas chocolates by the door so he said to me โ Christmas is coming soon so I said not yet - Halloween ๐ first - he just loves Christmas ๐- he really does light up my life , apart from Bea and Mira of course- almost forgot my other half too.
Am hoping you will get the opportunity to go to your dear neighbors funeral as not sure what the rules are on that at the moment - half a good rest of the day xx
Thanks so much for your understanding Farmer. I donโt know what the restrictions are regarding funerals at present - it was down to 8 people only during lockdown but might be 15 now. They have such a big family I think the 15 will be filled by them but weโll say our goodbyes from the roadside as the hearse passes as we did with another friend in the village during lockdown. A sad time made even worse by Covid.
Iโm so pleased to hear Connor is doing well and looking forward to Christmas. I bet he makes every Christmas special. Although he doesnโt know me give him a big hug from me, and cuddles for Mira and Bea. Hoping you are getting over the flare. Take care. Love and hugs ๐ค๐x
Oh Spotty, how absolutely tragic and terribly sad. I am so sorry to hear your news, my heart goes out to you right now and thoughts and prayers to your dear friendโs family ๐โฃ๏ธ๐๐บ
Thank you so much Horsewhisper. It is all so hard to take in. I appreciate your kind thoughts and prayers as will Maryโs family. Take care and keep safe. ๐ค๐
Thank you Kat. We are still reeling from the shock but the support and love offered by friends here on this wonderful forum is such an enormous help to me. ๐ฅฐ Thank you. ๐ค๐
So sorry to hear your news, Spotty. That was an awful thing to happen and must have been a terrible shock for everyone. Sending love โค๏ธ and hugs ๐ค to all concerned.
It was indeed a terrible shock Barbara. We hoped the worst would be Mary was lying somewhere with a broken ankle or something, never expected this. Your love and hugs are greatly appreciated. Thank you. I hope you are keeping better than last time we were in touch. ๐ค๐x
It was a terrible shock Meg and I still canโt quite believe it. Iโve been keeping busy with housework to distract me and eating cake as a comfort when I have a break. ๐งน๐งบ๐ง๐ฐxx
